Job Description
We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented individual for a hands-on transformer assembly position in Fraser, MI.
This position involves working with copper wiring, winding coils, stripping wire, and assembling electrical transformer components. The ideal candidate will have experience in small-parts assembly, electrical assembly, coil winding, or similar manufacturing work.
Job Responsibilities
- Wind copper wire around transformer coils and components.
- Strip and prepare copper wiring for assembly.
- Assemble small electrical transformer components.
- Perform repetitive hand assembly tasks throughout the shift.
- Use basic hand tools and assembly equipment.
- Follow detailed work instructions and production specifications.
- Inspect completed parts for quality and accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Meet daily production and quality expectations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in electrical assembly, coil winding, wire processing, or small-parts manufacturing preferred.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Comfortable performing repetitive tasks using hands and fingers.
- Ability to work with small components and follow detailed instructions.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Dependable attendance and a willingness to learn.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to perform repetitive hand and finger movements.
- Comfortable working with copper wiring and small components for extended periods.
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods, depending on the workstation.
- Ability to safely use basic hand tools.
Ideal Candidates: Individuals with previous experience in transformer manufacturing, electrical assembly, wire harness assembly, coil winding, or other detailed hands-on manufacturing positions.
