Job Description
The Demolition Worker supports the safe and efficient demolition of commercial buildings and residential structures. Reporting to the general foreman on active job sites, this role focuses on site preparation, structural demolition, debris removal, and site cleanup. The position requires regular use of hand tools and does not involve travel between project sites.
Responsibilities
- Prepare commercial and residential demolition sites for work.
- Perform structural demolition using hand tools.
- Remove and properly manage demolition debris.
- Clean and maintain work areas throughout the project.
- Follow direction from the general foreman on active job sites.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of demolition work experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- OSHA 10-Hour Construction certification.
- Knowledge of demolition techniques.
- Experience using hand and power tools.
- Knowledge of fall protection practices.
- Physical stamina to perform demanding demolition work.
