About this position
As a Yaaas Tea Kitchen Staff, you'll be at the heart of our operation, ensuring every guest's is served quality food and drinks. You’ll bake egg tarts and cookies, and cook our high-quality boba, and prepare our croffle sandwiches, snacks and desserts while maintaining our store's cleanliness and operational organization. This role is perfect for someone who loves to bake/cook, brew teas and drinks, and can multitask.Requirements
- TUESDAY/WEDNESDAY AND WEEKEND AVAILABILITY IS IMPORTANT
- MUST HAVE NYC DOHM FOOD PROTECTION LICENSE
- Seeking RESPONSIBLE staff for 20-30 hours a week - with a minimum 1 year commitment (college students must be able to work at least 2-3 days Mondays-Fridays during school year and available on the weekends)
- Must be able to work 20-30 hours per week.

Responsibilities
- Will be required to learn FOH drinks but mainly BOH kitchen responsibilities.
- Gain a comprehensive knowledge of the YAAAS TEA menu.
- Follow our SOPs diligently for making boba, drinks and bakery goods/desserts.
- Cook boba, prep drink bases and prepare food and baked goods as needed.
- Ensure store cleanliness and orderliness.
- Restock stations for continuous drink production.
- Execute additional tasks as directed by management.
- Efficiently manage kitchen schedules and daily responsibilities.
- Maintain kitchen and store cleanliness.
- Adhere to BOH prep and recipes to uphold our quality standards.
- Implement the FIFO method to maintain freshness.
