Pediatric Endocrinology Locum Opportunity MassachusettsPosition Overview
Seeking a Board-Certified Pediatric Endocrinologist for a full-time outpatient locum assignment. This position focuses exclusively on evaluation and management (E&M) visits with no procedures or inpatient responsibilities.
Compensation:
Hourly: $220/hour
Overtime: $220/hour (1)
Holiday: $305/hour (1.4)
Schedule
Start Date: September 2026
13-week assignment with option to extend
Monday Friday
8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Full-time preferred
Minimum availability: 2 weeks per month
No call
Practice Setting
Outpatient Pediatric Endocrinology Clinic
Potential coverage at satellite clinic locations within the region
Patient Population
Pediatric patients
Average daily census: patients
Responsibilities
Evaluation and management (E&M) visits only
Diagnose and manage pediatric endocrine disorders
Collaborate with Certified Diabetes Educators (CDEs), who provide diabetes education
No procedures
No inpatient responsibilities
No additional specialty services required

Board Certified in Pediatric Endocrinology
DEA registration
Epic experience
Minimum 1 year of experience
Licensure
Massachusetts license preferred
Candidates willing to obtain a Massachusetts license will be considered; however, currently licensed Massachusetts providers are strongly preferred due to licensing timelines
Credentialing
Standard credentialing: approximately 3 6 months
Expedited credentialing may be possible on a case-by-case basis
