Position: Domain Expert - ERP(NetSuite)
Type: Contract
Compensation: $70–$100/hour
Location: Remote

Role Responsibilities

  • Confirm the accuracy of posted entries, reconciliations, or close steps in the ledger.
  • Catch entries posted to incorrect periods, accounts, subsidiaries, or currencies.
  • Judge completeness by ensuring all related transactions are accounted for.
  • Distinguish between system allowances and accountant approvals to flag policy breaches.
  • Verify that requests lacking approval or existing records are appropriately refused.

Qualifications

Must-Have

  • Frequent NetSuite use - weekly or more - for accounting work in your current or recent role.
  • 3+ years of professional accounting experience, including month-end close.
  • Ability to spot misposted entries, unreconciled variances, or cutoff errors on sight.
  • Strong working knowledge in at least 2–3 specialized areas listed.
  • Hands-on experience as a NetSuite user or administrator.

Preferred

  • CPA (active or inactive) preferred; otherwise a degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent controller-level experience.
  • Prior data annotation, labeling, or AI evaluation experience is a plus.
