NOW HIRING: ARMED & UNARMED RAPID RESPONSE SECURITY OFFICERS

Location: Alabama — assignments based on service area and operational needs
Schedule: As needed / On call / Variable shifts
Compensation: Unarmed: $18–$21 per hour | Armed: $23–$26 per hour

Workable Solutions Investigative & Protective Services, LLC is seeking dependable, professional Armed and Unarmed Rapid Response Security Officers to support planned assignments, urgent client requests, and unexpected coverage needs throughout Alabama.
We need officers who communicate promptly, maintain deployment readiness, and can report for duty on short notice during their agreed availability.
Assignment Opportunities
- Event Security: Support access control, crowd management, guest assistance, and incident response.
- Mobile Patrol: Conduct vehicle and foot patrols, inspect properties, and document security concerns.
- Retail Security: Maintain a visible security presence, support loss prevention procedures, and assist with disturbances.
- Alarm Response: Respond to dispatched alarms, assess conditions, report findings, and coordinate with emergency services when necessary.
- Corporate Security: Protect facilities, monitor access, assist employees and visitors, and enforce site procedures.
- Fire Watch: Conduct designated patrols, identify and report fire hazards, maintain required logs, and follow site emergency procedures.
Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to dispatch calls, texts, and assignment requests during agreed availability.
- Report to assignments on short notice, properly uniformed and equipped.
- Follow post orders, company policies, and assignment instructions.
- Maintain a professional appearance and provide courteous customer service.
- Use sound judgment, de-escalation skills, and clear communication.
- Complete accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation.
- Remain alert, dependable, and ready to adapt to changing assignments.
Qualifications
- Current Alabama Security Regulatory Board (ASRB) credentials appropriate to the position.
- Armed applicants must possess a current ASRB Armed Security Officer license and meet company firearm qualification and equipment requirements.
- Reliable transportation and a working smartphone for dispatch communication.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record for driving assignments.
- Ability to perform assigned duties, including standing, walking, and working outdoors, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to meet applicable background screening, training, and client requirements.
- Previous security, military, law enforcement, emergency response, or relevant customer service experience preferred.
Availability & Response Expectations
Assignments may include days, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays. Applicants must identify the locations they can cover and the days and hours they can reliably accept short-notice assignments.
Specific response-time requirements will be established and communicated before officers join the active response roster.
Hours and assignment frequency depend on client needs and officer availability. This position does not guarantee a fixed weekly schedule or minimum weekly hours.
Compensation
- Unarmed Rapid Response Officers: $18–$21 per hour.
- Armed Rapid Response Officers: $23–$26 per hour.
Actual pay depends on qualifications, experience, assignment requirements, and location. Assignment rates and any applicable premiums will be communicated before acceptance.
