The General Labourer will provide essential general site support on construction sites, reporting to a direct supervisor. This role involves preparing worksites, handling and sorting materials, using hand and power tools, and completing physically demanding tasks safely and reliably. No travel is required, and smoking is not permitted on site.
Responsibilities
- Provide general support across construction worksites.
- Prepare worksites and maintain organized work areas.
- Use hand tools and power tools as directed.
- Sort, move, and handle construction materials.
- Perform manual lifting and other physically demanding tasks.
- Follow instructions from the direct supervisor and support the site team.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in general labour.
- Experience with material handling, hand tools, and power tools.
- Ability to perform manual lifting and maintain physical stamina.
- Physically fit and capable of completing demanding site work.
- Reliable and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to work on construction sites.
- Must comply with the no-smoking policy on site.
