General Manager — TALEA Beer Co.

TALEA is NYC's female-founded brewery, known for fruit-forward beers, warm hospitality, and beautifully designed spaces. We run 6 taprooms across Manhattan and Brooklyn, brewing all of our beer at our Williamsburg flagship, and we've been featured in The New York Times, Forbes, Eater, and more.

The Role

You'll run the day-to-day operation of a taproom — making sure guests are delighted, staff are trained and supported, and operations keep getting better. You'll report to the Co-Founders and join a nimble, fast-growing team. We value autonomy, ambition, and grit.

Responsibilities

• Lead, inspire, and develop the taproom team
• Manage and mentor the Assistant General Manager and Kitchen Manager
• Curate the bar: quarterly cocktail releases, wine list, and non-alcoholic options
• Own the P&L, from revenue growth to cost control
• Create and uphold SOPs across all taproom operations
• Oversee inventory for beer, kitchen, coffee, cleaning, and more
• Handle facility issues, and know when to escalate
• Ensure compliance with health, sanitation, liquor, safety, and facility regulations
• Pitch in elsewhere in the business as needed

Requirements

• 5+ years managing a high-volume bar or restaurant (fine dining experience welcome)
• On-site during peak periods — Tuesday through Saturday, plus holidays
• Passionate about craft beer and obsessed with guest satisfaction
• Self-motivated, flexible, and able to see projects through on your own
• Comfortable in an early-stage, fast-changing company
