Julia Valler Event Staffing is looking for professional and reliable Event Bartenders to join our Washington, DC team.
We work with a wide variety of clients and venues throughout the DC area, from corporate events and private celebrations to galas, receptions, and other high-profile events. What you’ll do:
• Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, beer, and nonalcoholic beverages
• Set up and break down event bars, organizing supplies, glassware, and equipment
• Follow drink recipes and event-specific beverage menus
• Keep the bar clean, organized, and stocked throughout service
• Provide friendly, attentive service while following responsible alcohol service practices
• Maintain a polished, professional appearance and positive attitude
• Work closely with captains, servers, barbacks, and other event staff to ensure smooth service
What we’re looking for:
• At least 1 year of bartending experience
• Knowledge of classic cocktails, common drink recipes, and bar service fundamentals
• Reliability and punctuality
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work efficiently as part of a team
• Ability to follow directions, anticipate service needs, and stay organized during busy periods
• Valid authorization to work in the United States
• Ability to lift and carry up to 45 lbs
• Commitment to delivering excellent service at every event
