Brunch money. Daytime hours. Home by dinner.We're opening a brand-new, high-volume Turning Point in University City and looking for experienced servers who can own a busy weekend brunch. Our servers run the guest experience from hello to goodbye, and our strongest servers move up to Barista, the manager's right hand. Paid training starts mid-November.
What you'll do
• Greet every table within 2 minutes and own the guest experience from hello to goodbye
• Run a full section through a busy brunch rush while keeping every table on pace
• Take accurate orders, flag allergies in the POS, and pace drinks and food to our standards
• Work as a team: full-table delivery, pre-bussing, helping your neighbor
• Keep your section, station and side work stocked and clean
• Handle payments and your end-of-day closeout accurately
What we're looking for
• 2+ years of serving experience in a full-service restaurant
• High-volume or breakfast/brunch experience strongly preferred
• Warm, upbeat and calm under pressure
• Comfortable handling cash and payments
• Weekends required (our busiest days); holidays as scheduled
• 18+ and authorized to work in the U.S.
What we offer
• $2.83/hr + tips (at least $7.25/hr guaranteed with tips)
• Day shifts only: we close at 3pm every day
• Paid training (4 shifts), then you're on the floor
• Trade and pick up shifts in our scheduling app (manager-approved)
• Room to move up to Barista and Shift Supervisor
Sample schedule
• Opening: 7:15am to about 3:30pm
• Late open: about 9:00am to close
• Weekends required; holidays as scheduled
About Turning Point
Turning Point is an award-winning, daytime-only breakfast, brunch & lunch restaurant with 30+ locations across NJ, PA, DE, VA and FL. Our University City restaurant opens in late November 2026, near SEPTA's 40th St El station. We're open 7:30am–3:00pm every day, so our team never works nights.
