Job Description
We are seeking a Welder to support manufacturing production, maintenance, repair, and field installation projects. This role performs independent welding work and collaborates with field installation crews using multiple welding processes and alloys, including MIG on carbon steel, TIG on stainless steel, and Stick welding on structural steel. The position offers advancement opportunities toward Lead Welder.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints for welding and fabrication projects.
- Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding across carbon steel, stainless steel, structural steel, and other alloys.
- Prepare materials and components for welding operations.
- Support manufacturing production, maintenance, repair, and field installation activities.
- Inspect welds for quality and complete formal weld documentation.
- Maintain accurate welder qualification records.
- Repair defective or damaged welds as required.
- Follow welding and workplace safety requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Technical training in welding or metal fabrication.
Preferred Qualifications
- Two or more years of welding experience.
- AWS Certified Welder certification.
- Experience with MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.
- Experience welding carbon steel, stainless steel, structural steel, and multiple alloys.
- Blueprint reading and welding inspection experience.
- Knowledge of metal fabrication and welding safety.
- Strong attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and problem-solving skills.
