About this position

Job Description

Job Description

We're looking for a technician who treats every door, every customer, and every callback as a reflection of who they are.

We run the full spectrum of commercial door and access systems; overhead, high-speed, impact, automatic, dock equipment, gates, hollow metal, glass, low-voltage, and more. If you've done all of them, you're exactly the kind of versatile tech we're built for.

What You'll Do

  • Service, repair, and install the full range of commercial systems: overhead, high-speed, impact, automatic, and specialty doors; entry doors, man doors, and hardware; hollow metal, steel, and glass doors; gates and gate automation; dock equipment and freight lifts; door closers; and wiring / low voltage
  • Diagnose issues accurately and deliver professional, lasting solutions, the right way, not the fast way
  • Perform work to industry standards with relentless focus on safety and longevity
  • Communicate clearly and honestly with customers and internal teams
  • Keep clean, accurate documentation, work orders, job notes, closeouts done right
  • Maintain your company vehicle, tools, and job documentation like they're your own
  • Be available for overtime and occasional weekend work as customer needs require

What You Bring

  • Proven experience as a commercial door technician across one or more system types and the willingness to master the rest
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and sharp troubleshooting instincts
  • A standard of craftsmanship you hold yourself to before anyone else does
  • Dependable, trustworthy, professional demeanor
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Ability to pass drug testing and stay drug-free (random testing enforced)
  • AAADM or other industry certifications preferred or the drive to earn them
