An outstanding full-time career opportunity is available for an experienced Welder / Fabricator in Fowlerville, NY area. This opportunity is ideal for a hands-on professional with strong MIG welding, metal fabrication, and mechanical skills, who can independently read blueprints, fabricate and assemble metal components, and operate a variety of industrial fabrication equipment. The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of producing high-quality work with minimal supervision.
This position earns a lucrative base salary and benefits including a 401K plan, PTO, health insurance, and other outstanding perks.
Positions pay $30-$38 plus over time.
Responsibilities
- Perform MIG welding, cutting, shaping, and fabrication of metal components and assemblies.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Fabricate and assemble medium to large metal components with minimal supervision.
- Operate fabrication equipment, including shears, punch presses, drill presses, plasma tables, and laser tables.
- Operate oxy-acetylene torches and overhead cranes safely and efficiently.
- Inspect welds and finished components to ensure quality, accuracy, and proper fit.
- Use grinders, drills, hand tools, and other shop equipment.
- Troubleshoot fabrication problems and perform necessary repairs or modifications.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

- Strong MIG welding experience is REQUIRED.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Experience operating industrial fabrication machinery and shop equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work independently.
- Good understanding of welding procedures and workplace safety.
- Valid driver's license with a clean DMV record.
- Ability to lift up to 120 lbs.
