Blueprint Electric is looking for an experienced residential electrician who takes pride in their work, shows up reliably, and treats customers and teammates with respect. Extensive experience roughing houses, experience installing standby generators, and a valid driver’s license are required.
Our residential work includes new construction, remodels, generator installations, service upgrades, troubleshooting, and electrical repairs. We need someone who can work independently, keep jobs moving, and deliver clean, professional installations.
Responsibilities:
- Complete residential rough-ins, including layout, box placement, drilling, wire pulling, and home runs.
- Complete trim-outs and install panels, circuits, receptacles, switches, lighting, and other electrical equipment.
- Perform electrical installations for standby generators, including automatic transfer switches, associated wiring, and load management equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical problems and perform repairs.
- Read plans and follow the approved scope of work.
- Communicate job progress, material needs, and issues with the office.
- Keep accurate time records, job notes, and photos.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience roughing houses, with the ability to complete rough-ins efficiently and with minimal supervision.
- Hands-on experience installing standby generators and automatic transfer switches.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Strong knowledge of residential electrical installations and applicable electrical codes.
- Ability to read electrical plans and lay out work accurately.
- Dependability, attention to detail, and a professional attitude.
- Basic electrical hand tools.
