About this position

The Staley is looking for an energetic, reliable, and hardworking Food Runner to join our growing team!

Located in Chicago's South Loop, The Staley is a high-energy sports bar known for great food, exciting game days, and a welcoming atmosphere.

We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in their work, and understands that great hospitality starts with teamwork.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver food from the kitchen to guests promptly and accurately.

  • Ensure food presentation, quality, and order accuracy before leaving the kitchen.

  • Communicate effectively with servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff.

  • Assist with clearing, cleaning, and resetting tables when needed.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of food running stations.

  • Support the service team during busy shifts, special events, and game days.

  • Follow all food safety and sanitation standards.

  • Help create an exceptional guest experience through friendly and attentive service.

Qualifications

  • Previous restaurant experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.

  • Excellent teamwork and attention to detail.

  • Ability to multitask and stay organized under pressure.

  • Must be available to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and Chicago Bears game days.

  • Dependable, punctual, and willing to help wherever needed.
