Senior Research Associate – Protein Biosciences

- Location: San Diego, CA 92122 (fully onsite) \n
- Pay range: $55–$65/hour \n
- Duration: Contract (3–6 months)
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION YOU WILL NEED \n - BS with 5+ years or MS with 3+ years of hands-on lab experience (biotech/drug discovery) \n
- Deep experience with mammalian tissue culture (immortalized + primary cells), with excellent aseptic technique \n
- Experience running cell-based assays (viability/cytotoxicity/reporter assays) \n
- Recombinant protein expression/purification experience (chromatography systems a plus) \n
- Strong documentation, organization, and cross-functional communication skills

MAIN DUTIES OF THE JOB
\n- \n
- Maintain/expand cell lines and support routine cell-based SAR assays \n
- Execute viability, cytotoxicity, and reporter readouts; analyze and report results \n
- Support protein expression, purification, and basic characterization as needed \n
- Perform molecular biology workflows (e.g., RNA work and RT-qPCR) as needed \n
- Maintain organized lab records and assist with method optimization/troubleshooting
