Job Description:
- Level IV Welders with a minimum of 15 years of relevant welding experience who successfully pass the 6G TIG and 2G Stick tests
- 15 years of experience will be considered for other welder levels, with starting pay based on experience, weld test results, and other job-related qualifications.
Responsibilities:
- Joins, fabricates, and repairs metal and other weldable material by applying appropriate welding techniques
- Interprets blueprints, specifications, diagrams or schematics to determine appropriate welding process
- Inspects completed welds to determine structural soundness
- Performs a variety of highly skilled tasks
- May lead and direct the work of others
Requirements:
- Ability to pass 6G Tig and 2G Stick test
- Knowledge of a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures
- Ability to rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
- Ability to work different shifts
- Ability to lay-out, burn holes, fit and weld nozzles
- Ability to read drawings
- Ability to lift
Skills Required (i.e. certifications, licenses, registrations, etc.)
- May be required to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty
- Promotes and supports safety, and production
- Possesses positive attitude

Working Conditions:
- Must be able to work inside and outside.
- Regular exposure to welding debris, heat, cold, dark and bright environments
