About this position
Job Title: Senior AI Engineer
Location: San Diego County, CA
Work Arrangement: Hybrid
Salary: $140k to $170k annually
Job Summary:
We are looking for a hands-on Senior Applied AI Engineer to build and deploy intelligent applications, Generative AI solutions, and workflow automation for a healthcare research organization.
Key Requirements:
5+ years of experience in software development, data engineering, or data science.
2+ years of hands-on Applied AI / LLM experience.
Strong Python and SQL skills.
Experience with RAG, embeddings, and vector databases.
Hands-on experience with LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, or similar AI frameworks. Experience building and deploying production AI applications.
Experience integrating OpenAI, Anthropic, or other LLM APIs.
Preferred: Snowflake, Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Automate, and MCP.
