Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical work, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for providing top-notch service to our customers. As a Lead Electrician, you will oversee projects, mentor junior electricians, and ensure that all work is completed safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
● Lead and manage electrical projects from start to finish, ensuring compliance with NEC codes and regulations
● Manage an electrician’s assistant, providing guidance and support as needed
● Conduct inspections and assessments of electrical systems to identify issues and recommend solutions
● Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional customer service
● Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project timelines
● Ensure all safety protocols are followed on job sites
● Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices
Qualifications:
● Valid electrical license or journeyman card
● Minimum of 5 years of experience in residential and commercial electrical work
● Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team
● Ability to read blueprints, schematics and written reference material
● Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
● Ability to work independently and as part of a team
● Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
● Spanish speaking a plus
