Connected Structural Group (CSG) is hiring a Structural Steel Detailer to join our Las Vegas office. If you take pride in precise work, enjoy solving problems, and want to build your career on complex and rewarding projects, we would like to hear from you.

CSG brings structural engineering, steel detailing, connection design, BIM/VDC, and erection engineering together in one coordinated team. Our production models and drawings turn project information into details that fabricators and erectors can build from. In our modern Las Vegas office, you will work side by side with experienced detailers, checkers, engineers, and project managers on projects for some of the world's largest and most respected companies, with opportunities to learn, contribute, and grow.

What You Will Do

• Develop structural steel models, shop drawings, erection plans, and field details using SDS2 or Tekla Structures.
• Read structural and architectural documents; identify missing information and prepare requests for information (RFIs).
• Coordinate steel detailing with joist and deck information, project requirements, and fabricator and erector standards.
• Apply applicable AISC standards, OSHA requirements, and established steel industry practices to detailing work.
• Work with project managers, engineers, and checkers to resolve issues and incorporate review comments.
• Track revisions and flag changes that may affect scope, cost, or schedule for the project manager.

What We Are Looking For

• Two or more years of structural steel detailing experience using SDS2 or Tekla Structures preferred. Candidates with relevant drafting, construction, or technical education and strong potential may also be considered for training.
• Strong math, geometry, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and communicate clearly with teammates and project contacts.
• Willingness to learn, follow project standards, and work collaboratively in the office.
• General knowledge of steel construction and familiarity with Microsoft Office preferred.
