Journeyman Electrician / Lead Electrician

Seaglund Electric is hiring an experienced Journeyman Electrician or Lead Electrician to join our growing team. We are looking for a skilled, dependable professional who can work independently, lead a small crew, and deliver high-quality electrical work across residential and light commercial projects.

This full-time position offers a variety of work, including high-end residential construction, electrical service and repairs, panel upgrades, and Generac generator installations. We offer competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities for long-term career advancement.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in residential and light commercial properties.
• Perform electrical service calls, diagnose issues, and provide effective solutions.
• Install, service, and maintain Generac generators and backup power systems.
• Complete electrical wiring, circuit installations, panel upgrades, and other electrical improvements.
• Read and interpret blueprints, electrical diagrams, and technical specifications.
• Ensure all work meets applicable electrical codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Lead and support a small electrical crew while maintaining productivity and workmanship.
• Coordinate with plumbing teams and other trades to complete projects efficiently.
• Communicate professionally with customers, coworkers, and project managers.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician license preferred.
• Previous experience as a Journeyman Electrician, Lead Electrician, or electrical crew leader.
• Strong experience in residential electrical installations, service, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Generac generators preferred.
• Generac Generator Certification is a plus.
• Completion of an electrical apprenticeship or trade school program preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints, troubleshoot electrical problems, and work independently.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to electrical safety, code compliance, and quality workmanship.
