About this position
Remote Pharmacist - PennsylvaniaHealthCare Support is partnering with one of the nation's leading independent specialty pharmacies to offer Pharmacists within a 1-hour commute of Pittsburgh, PA, an exciting opportunity to work 100% remotely while gaining valuable specialty pharmacy experience!
Retail pharmacists are encouraged to apply—no prior specialty or managed care experience required! Expand your clinical expertise, work with innovative therapies, and make a meaningful impact on patients managing rare and complex conditions.
Pay: $60–$66 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Full-time, 8-hour shifts with a rotating weekly schedule.

- Review and verify prescription orders for accuracy, collaborate with prescribers, and support safe, effective medication therapy.
- Provide patient counseling on specialty and non-specialty medications, answer medication-related questions, and promote medication adherence.
- Collaborate with the pharmacy team to support prior authorizations, patient assistance programs, medication fulfillment, and clinical documentation.
- Doctor of Pharmacy or Registered Pharmacist degree from an ACPE accredited institution
- Active and unrestricted Pharmacist licensure for Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
- Retail pharmacists are encouraged to apply! Prior specialty pharmacy or managed care experience is not required.
