What Youll Be Doing
- Take ownership of assigned general ledger accounts, including accruals, prepaid expenses, and vendor rebates.
- Prepare account reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting schedules as part of the monthly close process.
- Analyze financial results, investigate variances, and prepare reporting for senior management.
- Partner with accounting leadership and cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with accounting policies and internal controls.
- Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes, enhance reporting, and improve operational efficiency.
- Leverage automation, AI, and emerging technologies to modernize accounting workflows.
What Were Looking For
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Experience in public accounting, corporate accounting, or a combination of both.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong analytical capabilities.
- Experience with ERP systems and an interest in technology-driven process improvements.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments.
