PLC Technician
The Industrial Electrician/PLC Technician is responsible for performing installations, repairs, preventative maintenance, and process improvements on production equipment and facilities in an effective and timely manner. They must have the ability to make necessary programming changes and troubleshoot equipment.
Responsibilities:
* Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems, Allen-Bradley VFDs, photo-eyes, proximity sensors, and production equipment
* Perform preventative maintenance, equipment repairs, and production changeovers to maximize efficiency and reliability
* Collaborate with management, production, quality, and vendors to resolve issues, improve processes, and meet company goals
* Complete required documentation, evaluate work methods, and train personnel on safe and efficient equipment operation
Required Skills & Experience:
* 7+ years of experience working as an Industrial Electrician, PLC Technician, or a related role
* HS Diploma or GED
* Must be able to work Sunday to Wednesday from 6am to 6pm
* Knowledge of programming and troubleshooting
Preferred Skills & Experience:
* Experience working in a food or beverage environment is preferred
