We are seeking a Licensed Journeyman Electrician to support commercial construction, industrial facility, and oil and gas projects. Reporting directly to the electrical contractor, this role will work within small electrical crews, large multidisciplinary teams, or independently on solo assignments. The position includes overnight and occasional regional travel, with advancement opportunities to Lead Journeyman, Electrical Supervisor, or Project Manager.
Responsibilities
- Perform electrical installations and wiring system work.
- Install conduit and assemble electrical panels.
- Interpret blueprints and apply the National Electrical Code.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems and perform preventive maintenance.
- Conduct safety inspections and maintain electrical safety standards.
- Manage materials and coordinate activities on the jobsite.
- Support work across commercial, industrial, and oil and gas projects.
Required Qualifications
- Active Journeyman Electrician license.
- Five or more years of electrical installation experience.
- Completed electrical apprenticeship or technical diploma.
- Proficiency in electrical wiring, conduit installation, and electrical troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of the National Electrical Code and electrical safety practices.
- Ability to read blueprints and coordinate effectively on jobsites.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
