About this position

Associate Wealth Advisor – Fort Pierce, FL

We are partnering with a well-established wealth management practice in Fort Pierce, FL, managing over $250 million in client assets, that is looking to add an Associate Wealth Advisor to its team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career Financial Advisor who enjoys financial planning, investment management, and building client relationships but does not necessarily want to focus on business development or gathering assets.

The practice consists of a close-knit team of four professionals and is led by an experienced founding advisor. The Associate Wealth Advisor will work directly alongside the lead advisor in a second-chair capacity, participating in client meetings, assisting with financial planning, and gradually taking on additional relationship management responsibilities.

Unlike many junior advisor positions, this role is not focused on administrative or traditional client service responsibilities. The firm has dedicated client service and operations professionals who handle those functions, allowing the Associate Wealth Advisor to concentrate on developing their advisory skills, supporting existing client relationships, and becoming an increasingly valuable member of the advisory team.

Responsibilities

  • Work directly alongside the founding advisor to support the management of established client relationships
  • Participate in client meetings, initially in a second-chair capacity, assisting with discussions surrounding financial planning, investments, and overall wealth management strategies
  • Assist with the preparation, development, and ongoing maintenance of comprehensive financial plans
  • Help identify client needs and opportunities to enhance existing financial plans and relationships
  • Coordinate and follow up on recommendations and action items resulting from client meetings
  • Develop relationships with existing clients and gradually assume additional relationship management responsibilities
  • Assist with portfolio reviews, investment discussions, and preparation of client meeting materials
  • Collaborate with the firm's client service and operations professionals to ensure recommendations and client requests are implemented effectively
  • Continue developing technical knowledge and advisory skills under the mentorship of an experienced senior advisor
  • Help deliver a high level of personalized service to the firm's established client base

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in wealth management, financial planning, or a financial advisory environment
  • Series 7 and 66 licenses preferred
  • CFP designation or progress toward obtaining the CFP is a plus
  • Strong interest in financial planning, investment management, and long-term client relationship management
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to develop trust and rapport with clients
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working collaboratively with a small team
  • A desire to learn from an experienced advisor and grow professionally within an established wealth management practice
  • No existing book of business required

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive base salary
  • Performance-based bonus opportunity
  • Comprehensive employee benefits
  • Direct mentorship from an experienced founding advisor
  • Opportunity to develop into a more independent advisory role over time
  • Established client relationships and a collaborative, team-oriented environment

Location: Fort Pierce, FL – 100% in-office position

Why Consider This Opportunity?

For someone who enjoys the advisory and financial planning side of wealth management and wants to build a long-term career within a successful, established practice, this could be an excellent fit.
