Electrical Field Supervisor – Custom Homes

Full-Time | Pay Based on Experience $30/hr and up
American Titan Electric is hiring an experienced Electrical Field Supervisor to oversee residential electrical work on custom homes. We are looking for a dependable leader who can manage crews, coordinate with builders, and maintain high standards of workmanship from rough-in through final inspection.
Responsibilities
- Supervise electrical crews and subcontractors across multiple custom home projects.
- Plan and coordinate rough-ins, trim-outs, inspections, and punch-list work.
- Read electrical plans, lighting layouts, specifications, and change orders.
- Walk homes with builders and homeowners to confirm electrical locations and project expectations.
- Coordinate with other trades to prevent conflicts and keep projects moving.
- Inspect installations for code compliance, accuracy, cleanliness, and quality.
- Schedule material needs and communicate shortages before they delay production.
- Track job progress, crew performance, and labor hours against project budgets.
- Identify and document extra work and changes before proceeding.
- Troubleshoot field issues and help crews resolve installation problems.
- Communicate daily updates, jobsite photos, and upcoming needs to the office.
- Enforce safe work practices and ensure inspection corrections are completed promptly.
- Assist with installation when needed.
Qualifications
- Strong experience in residential electrical construction, specifically custom homes.
- Previous experience as an electrical field supervisor, foreman, or lead electrician.
- Ability to manage multiple jobsites and hold crews accountable for quality and productivity.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes and residential installation requirements.
- Ability to read plans and coordinate detailed lighting, switching, panel, and circuit layouts.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable using a smartphone or tablet for schedules, photos, and project documentation.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between jobsites.
- Experience with lighting controls, generators, home automation, and other custom home electrical systems is a plus.
