A-Line Staffing is now hiring a 2nd shift Family Nurse Practitioner – Virtual Care to work remotely in the U.S. for a Fortune 500 healthcare company. This position offers career growth potential and is full-time, with 40 hours per week.
Family Nurse Practitioner – Virtual Care Compensation
- The pay for this position is $75 hourly.
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment.
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates.
Family Nurse Practitioner – Virtual Care Highlights
- This is a fully remote position.
- Available schedules include 1:00 PM–9:30 PM or 2:30 PM–11:00 PM, with potential flexibility for 4-hour shifts.
- Evening hours, every other weekend, and some holidays are required.
- All MinuteClinic positions are considered safety-sensitive.
- A completed candidate questionnaire is required for all NP submissions.
Family Nurse Practitioner – Virtual Care Responsibilities
- Evaluate primary care, acute, and chronic conditions for patients aged 18 months and older.
- Provide health education, counseling, and disposition planning.
- Counsel patients on pregnancy prevention, STI prevention, contraceptive care, and medication management.
- Educate patients on preventive care and general health maintenance.
- Document all patient interactions accurately in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Coordinate care with providers, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain a safe, patient-centered virtual care environment and comply with healthcare policies and protocols.
Family Nurse Practitioner – Virtual Care Requirements
- Master’s degree from an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner program.
- Current national board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
- Active, unrestricted advanced practice nursing license in the state of employment, with multistate or compact privileges as required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Red Cross (ARC) or American Heart Association (AHA).
- Ability to work remotely and meet the required evening, weekend, and holiday schedule.
- Completion of the required candidate questionnaire.
- Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days.
Family Nurse Practitioner – Virtual Care Preferred Qualifications
- Experience providing virtual care or telehealth services.
- Experience evaluating and managing acute and chronic conditions.
- Experience with electronic health records and remote patient documentation.
- Experience providing contraceptive counseling, STI prevention education, and medication management.
