About the Role:
Doc's Electrical & Home Solutions is looking for a reliable and motivated Electrical Helper / Apprentice to join our growing team serving Jacksonville and Saint Johns County, FL! The ideal candidate will have previous hands on electrical experience, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to continue learning and developing their skills while working alongside experienced electricians.
Responsibilities:
- Assist journeyman and master electricians with residential and commercial electrical installations
- Run conduit, pull wire, and help with panel installations and wiring
- Support troubleshooting and repair of electrical systems and components
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site at all times
- Follow electrical safety procedures, NEC standards, and applicable local codes under the supervision of experienced electricians.
- Transport tools, materials, and equipment to and from job sites as needed
- Communicate professionally with team members and customers on-site
Requirements:
- Minimum of three years of hands on electrical experience required
- Familiarity with electrical tools, materials, and basic wiring methods
- Reliable, punctual, and motivated to learn
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, climbing ladders, and working in various conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Strong work ethic and positive, team-oriented attitude
- Ability to follow instructions and work safely under supervision
- High school diploma or GED required
