We are seeking a Welder Fabricator to perform shop-based fabrication for aluminum assemblies and mixed-metal projects. This role involves working independently as part of a small fabrication team, using engineer-provided specifications to produce quality assemblies from aluminum, steel, and other metals. No travel is required.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints and engineer-provided specifications.
- Prepare materials for fabrication using aluminum, steel, and other metals.
- Measure and cut metal to specified dimensions.
- Perform welding and fabrication on aluminum assemblies and mixed-metal projects.
- Assemble fabricated components according to project requirements.
- Complete shop-based fabrication independently while collaborating with a small fabrication team.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in welding and metal fabrication.
- Experience with metal fabrication and metal cutting.
- Precision measurement skills.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Strong attention to detail.
