CCS Construction Staffing is actively hiring Copper Brazers for HVAC/refrigerant installation work in Fort Myers, FL. This is an immediate opportunity with heavy overtime - approximately 60 hours per week.
POSITION DETAILS
- Job Title: Copper Brazers
- Pay Rate: $28 - $32 per hour (overtime paid after 40 hours)
- Weekly Earnings: Working the full ~60 hours (40 regular + 20 overtime at time-and-a-half), Copper Brazers earn approximately $1,960 - $2,240 per week before taxes
- Location: Fort Myers, FL
- Schedule: Approximately 60 hours per week
- Start Date: ASAP
SCOPE OF WORK
- Braze copper refrigerant piping
- Install mini split systems
- Run and install line sets
- Perform refrigerant technician work
REQUIREMENTS
- Must complete ladder and fall protection safety (CCS will provide).
- OSHA 10 certification (required)
- Hands-on experience brazing copper
- All PPE, including Type 2 hard hat and reflective vest
- Basic hand tools (level, tape measure, hammer, etc.)
- Able to work approximately 60 hours per week
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
PREFERRED
- EPA 608 certification
- Own personal fall protection harness and lanyard
- Additional specialty tools (list to be provided by recruiter)
