Job Description
Gillmann Services is seeking dependable and hardworking Insulation Installers for residential and commercial construction projects in the Lake Mills, WI area. Candidates will be responsible for installing various insulation materials, operating equipment, and ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently. Previous insulation or construction experience is preferred.
Job Responsibilities
- Install blown-in insulation, spray foam, and fiberglass insulation in commercial buildings
- Measure, cut, and apply insulation materials according to project specifications
- Assist with the installation of wall and ceiling netting for blown-in insulation systems
- Safely operate insulation equipment, hand tools, and other construction equipment
- Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment throughout the job site
- Assist with setting up and dismantling scaffolding and other equipment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment
- Follow construction blueprints, instructions, and safety procedures
- Work alongside crew members and supervisors to complete projects on schedule
- All other duties appointed by site supervisor
Qualifications
- Insulation experience required
- Familiarity with insulation materials, tools, and installation methods is a plus
- Ability to read basic measurements and follow instructions
- Comfortable performing physical labor and lifting up to 60 lbs
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license required
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Willingness to learn to operate forklifts and other job site equipment
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check
