About this position
Winston Taylor is seeking an experienced practice counsel to join its employee benefits & executive compensation practice. The position is a non-partnership track position. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience advising clients on day-to-day employee benefits matters, including ERISA compliance, retirement and welfare plans, and fiduciary responsibilities. This is a client-facing role focused on independently managing routine matters and providing practical legal guidance, without business development or practice growth responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have experience at a law firm with a dedicated employee benefits practice. While Chicago is the preferred office locations for this position, we will also consider candidates within our other offices. All candidates must be admitted to the state bar of their preferred office location. The salary range for this role is $290,000 - $330,000.
