We are seeking experienced Skilled Construction Tradesmen for a construction project at Tyndall Air Force Base in Panama City, Florida. We are looking for dependable, safety-conscious professionals with hands-on experience in commercial or industrial construction.
Qualified candidates may include plumbers, sheet metal mechanics, pipefitters, welders, and other skilled construction tradesmen.
Candidates who already possess valid base access credentials or badging accepted for this project are strongly preferred. Applicants must be able to meet all applicable installation access and project requirements.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform skilled construction and trade-related work based on experience and project needs.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications as applicable.
- Install, assemble, maintain, or repair construction systems and equipment within the candidate’s trade.
- Safely operate trade-specific tools and equipment.
- Follow project schedules, work instructions, and quality standards.
- Comply with OSHA safety requirements, site-specific procedures, and applicable military installation regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Work effectively with supervisors, project managers, and other construction trades.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a skilled construction trade is preferred
- Experience in plumbing, sheet metal, pipefitting, welding, or a related trade is preferred.
- Ability to perform assigned duties safely and efficiently.
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
- Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team.
- Must meet all applicable Tyndall Air Force Base access, identification, and project requirements.
- Existing base badging or credentials accepted for this project are strongly preferred.
