These firms are expanding and seeking experienced General Litigation Defense Associate Attorneys to join growing teams handling sophisticated insurance defense, general liability and civil litigation matters including automobile accidents, bodily injury, premises liability and product liability. These roles are ideal for seasoned litigators who value strategic case management, client relationships and long-term professional stability within a supportive firm environment.
Responsibilities
- Handle general litigation defense matters involving automobile accidents, bodily injury, damages and product liability
- Draft pleadings, motions, legal memoranda and other litigation documents with accuracy and efficiency
- Manage cases through discovery, depositions, motion practice and settlement negotiations while evaluating liability, damages and potential exposure
- Communicate with clients, insurance carriers and opposing counsel while developing litigation strategies and managing an assigned caseload independently
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and active Bar admission in good standing in New York, Pennsylvania, or New Jersey, depending on the position's location.
- 3+ years of general litigation or insurance defense experience defending automobile accident, personal injury and/or product liability matters (trial experience not required)
- Strong organizational communication and time management skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced high-volume environment
- Strong legal research, writing, negotiation and case management skills with the ability to handle a litigation caseload independently
