About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented entry-level Manufacturing Quality Technician & Continuous Improvement Assistant to join our team. This role ensures products meet quality standards and supports process improvement initiatives to make manufacturing more efficient. Hands-on training will be provided—no prior experience is required, though familiarity with basic manufacturing processes is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform in-process and final inspections of products and materials
- Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, tape measures and gauges
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications
- Record and maintain accurate inspection and quality documentation
- Identify defects and assist production teams with corrective actions
- Support continuous improvement activities using Lean Manufacturing principles
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required (Associate degree preferred)
- 1–3 years of manufacturing or quality control experience (preferred but not required)
- Knowledge of inspection tools and measurement techniques
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Basic computer skills (data entry, reporting)
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes such as welding, grinding, and forming
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive)
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles
- Strong communication skills; able to follow instructions and ask questions when needed
