Litigation Associate – Allentown
I’m recruiting for an established civil litigation/insurance defense firm in Philadelphia that is looking to add an Associate Attorney to its team.
This is a great opportunity for a litigator who wants substantive case experience, meaningful responsibility, and the ability to manage matters beyond just one piece of the litigation process.
What you’ll be doing
- Handling a varied civil litigation caseload which includes sophisticated, complex, catastrophic, and high-value matters
- Managing cases through different stages of litigation
- Drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and other substantive filings
- Taking and defending depositions
- Working directly with clients
- Handling hearings, arbitrations, mediations, and trial preparation/trial
What they’re looking for
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Pennsylvania Bar admission
- Meaningful litigation experience
- Strong writing, research, and case-management skills
- Someone comfortable taking on meaningful responsibility for their cases and continuing to develop as a litigator
