About this position
MAÎTRE D' – SUSHI DOKKU (West Loop)Sushi Dokku is hiring a polished, warm Maître D' to own our front door. You set the tone for every guest's night, at our Randolph Street dining room and Booze Box speakeasy.
What you'll do:
• Greet and seat guests, and run the floor plan and waitlist
• Manage reservations in Tock, including large parties and VIPs
• Keep the pace between host stand, servers and kitchen
• Handle special requests and resolve guest issues with grace
• Help coordinate private events and buyouts
What we're looking for:
• 2+ years as a maître d', host lead or FOH supervisor in a busy restaurant
• Calm under pressure, with great memory for names and regulars
• Available nights and weekends
• Spanish a plus
Hourly + tips, plus benefits based on experience.
